About this deal

This book is amazing! I would recommend it to people from age 7 - 12 who have read the first book in the series, The Nowhere Emporium for this is the second book. My favourite characters are Daniel and Ellie, the two main characters. Where is the Emporium's rightful owner, Daniel? And can Mirren find him before the shop, and everyone inside, is lost forever? I loved this sequel to one of my favourite books. I loved it all apart from at the end because Daniel had to leave Elie.

He also has removed the veil of secrecy that once surrounded it, giving interviews, etc. The Emporium has no fixed location. It travels from town to town wowing everyone who enters. The Emporium is powered by the magic of dreams – To enter, you must share one of your best. The writing is rich with descriptive detail. Readers will be able to picture every magnificent thing that Daniel has brought to life inside the Emporium.I liked this book because the emporium gets stolen from Daniel and people are disappearing and turning into shadows.

The proprietor, Daniel Holmes, uses his imagination to create wondrous spaces in the Emporium’s vast interior. Whatever he writes in the enchanted Book of Wonders appears as a room inside the shop, ready to be enjoyed by visiting customers, who will instantly forget about it as soon as they leave. However, a dark force is seeping through the Emporium and Daniel has disappeared. The Nowhere Emporium has been stolen and Daniel and Ellie must find it before it is lost forever. Can they find the Emporium before it is destroyed and what will they discover along the way? Comparisons to Harry Potter are inevitable: Boy without family is rescued from orphanage by wizard, introduced into a world of magical crime investigation that includes whole streets and neighborhoods that only the initiated can see, etc. That said, the feel is quite different, and these details were in many books before J.K. Rowling came around. This book continues on well from the Nowhere Emporium. Travelling at the same spread, as you read through this magical story of how the orphan boy changes the Emporium to his own. This magical realm has your imagination running wild as to how to how anything could be possible. Daniel and his friends find a whole world of magic. Which turns into an interesting journey of how he and his friends develop into their own independent characters.
